The Boonshoft Museum of Discovery is Dayton's premier family attraction for interactive learning. The Museum includes a live animal zoo, state-of-the-art Space Theater, hands-on science exhibits, daily public programming, traveling exhibitions and a variety of programs for schools and groups.

The Department of Parks, Recreation and Culture promotes the quality of life of the community through personal development, recreational activities, social enhancements and culture and arts. The Dayton Art Institute hosts world-class exhibitions, concerts, family and youth programs, classes, social events and more! The Dayton Art Institute's Experiencenter offers a fun hands on space for young people to learn about art and its many components. General admission is FREE, courtesy of the Bank One Free Admission Endowment Fund. Most special exhibitions carry an admission fee.

Five Rivers MetroParks manages and operates 24 outstanding public facilities and over 11,600 acres throughout the Montgomery County area for year-round recreation, education and conservation. Activities range from nature and gardening programs to hiking, bicylcing and fishing, to outdoor concerts and laser light & music shows. Access to parks and most programs are free.

The Girl Scouts is the world's pre-eminent organization dedicated solely to girls. Working together with committed adults, girls grow strong in body, mind and spirit… and discover the fun, friendship and power of girls together.

The City of Kettering Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department has something for everyone! The department is responsible for park maintenance and development, and recreational and cultural programs and facilities. Programs target every age group, from infants through senior adults, as well as special populations.

K12 Gallery for Young People is a vibrant, nonprofit, arts organization located in the heart of downtown Dayton. Offering a wide variety of classes, workshops, exhibitions and special events, K12 provides a vital creative connection for young artist in the greater Miami Valley.

The Learning Tree Farm is a classroom without walls, which facilitates hands-on learning experiences in a traditional farm setting.

SunWatch is a National Historic Landmark which features a reconstructed Fort Ancient Indian village and museum. The site offers various workshops and programs that highlight the lifeways of the Native Americans who occupied the site 800 years ago.

The Victoria Theatre Association is Dayton's premier arts organization presenting a variety of performances for adults, families and school children.

The Wegerzyn Gardens are comprised of Children's, Rose, Federal, English and Victorian gardens with a central mall featuring a 'Cimmaron' white ash allee. In addition to the Historic Gardens, the Wegerzyn Horticultural Center offers many other spectacular exhibits, displays and educational activities for adults and children of all ages.
